Happy 1st Birthday!  We celebrated my 1st birthday at Magens Bay with lots of family and friends. Can you believe my Grandpa Henry, Oma, Grandma Karen, and Great Grandma Marlene flew here from Chicago just to spend the day with me!  What a wonderful time and a perfect day it was!  So many friends came to say Happy Birthday to me and made me feel so special. We had Chicago style food that my parents brought back here in a cooler with dry ice.  We had hot dogs with all of the Chicago style fixings, elotes (Mexican style street corn found in Chicago at every park) and my favorite was the Italian Beef sandwiches with green peppers. I also tried cake for the very first time in my life!  It was pretty good but sure was different from broccoli and eggs, some of my favorite foods. I must say it was the best birthday party I have ever had!

My mom made these awesome cupcakes and shark cookies.

Italian Beef sandwiches with green peppers and giardiniera peppers.

I fell asleep as soon as the party started and took a nice nap for over an hour!

"Is this cake really all for me?" - is what I was thinking.

Well I guess I have to just go for it!

I am pretty good at sharing my things and I definitely wanted to share my cake.

My best bud Liam helped me out and showed me how to eat my cake.

But then I think I put too much into my mouth!

My mom spent a couple months teaching me how to put up my number ONE finger and I finally got it!

Sunset at Magens Bay to end my awesome birthday party!
